Also there is that test that let's doctors tell how far along you are
do they go to their doctor, get the test done, then use the doctors assessment as confirmation?
They could do that too
you don't see a problem there?
relying on doctors to be honest
i'd be more worried about the fact you're forcing medical procedures on people
I mean you could have a specialist who does these case specifically?
i've got a really sympathetic doctor, i could easily get her to lie and have her claim i'm not pregnant
And paid for by the USA government at a USA embassy
or go to a developing / 3rd world country
just bribe the doctor
GG
so american tax payers foot the bill for hundreds of thousands of pregnancy tests of none-citizens?
Also I'm not saying you must test everyone
actually scratch that, millions
But how do you see this, forcing medical procedures on civilians as a better solution to
"children born to non-legal residents/citizens are not automatically given citizenship"?
A person who is 1 month pregnant is unlikely to give birth unless they plan to stay
want a cheap pregnancy test in a country that costs? apply for an american visa, they'll do the test for you at no cost
Mate look there are issues
But it's better than footing a law that could create judicial precedent down the line
honestly, i'd rather it go to the supreme court and let them rule on it.
But an executive order would be limited in scope
as opposed to sticking medical procedures by force on wamxn without reasonable cause
if they rule its unconstitional, campaign to have the constituion adjusted.
Last a short period and be withly ineffective
i'd say you're replacing a constitutional "violation" with a human rights violation
aren't the tests a blood test as well?
well you have the peeing test
But the constitution protects legal citizens human rights
forcing a woman to pee on a stick
Not foreign natives
They are not holding them down and forcing them to do shit
the constitution afaik, protects people on american soil, regardless of their citizenship
Also you can easily tell if someone is pregnant or close to birth
Most wouldn't need it
It's only for the few cases you cant
yes, but you can enter easily on a 3 month tourist visit
which is 1/3rd of pregnancy, when they start becomng bloated
And a person who is not showing wont give birth in 3 months
you've clearly never seen a pregnant fatty 😉
