Religions like Buddhism, Daoism, and modern Christianity are completely peaceful and produce healthier more productive members of society for the most part
I agree as for religion being a guidepost. I disagree that anyone other than a man wrote any of em. Catholicism is a prime example of excess. Keep the population illiterate and fleece then for money. In gods name for the church
It was written by human hand obviously. However, there's a lot we don't know about the nature of reality. Its entirely possible it was influenced by something we don't entirely understand
If you compare the old and new testament you'll see a very different version of god in each, i personally think the old testament has more to do with judaism than christianity
