And they might as well spend the budget.
possible contaminants
Doesn't matter what.
So we just worked on a thing that will no longer be, in January. lol
I'm grateful to be paid, but as soon as I learned that, my eyes glazed over. lol
sounds like a government plan
maybe easier to get salvage being unpainted?
It's fine. I learned how to 'paintbooth'
lmao
"we have a budget, might as well spend it"
Paint . . . hmmmmm
There are a lot of jobs like that.
@tritrium funny given that they have a budget, yet have no money for it.
Jobs that have an illusion of service.
makes you wonder how they got a budget for it
It's good that people do tactile laborous things.
To get together. To work together. To have lunch.
But knowing that the PRODUCT OF YOUR EFFORT is pointless, does put a cloud over it all.
u dont say
hey, think of it as training where fucking up won't cost someone money
schools here have a yearly budget, better spend it as well because otherwise they get less the year after.
now the equality doctrine has taken place.
Every school principal earns the same no matter how many students there are
#equality
*equity
hey, we need equal pay for equal work /s
Equity laws . oh god
I trained by taking jobs of people i know, renovating the electricity in their houses.
Had good teachers as well, they encouraged me to take it on AND they came to visit the place to check my work after which was really cool tbh
yeah equity pratel
those apprenticeship style jobs really need to come back
ofc a general house doesnt have engines and machines laying around but hey that was another part of the course xD
no need to go to school for 4 years to do this shit. just work for someone for low pay for 2 years.
@Walsp They exist. https://www.racialequityalliance.org/
and it's **not** just blue states where this is a thing. They've got a map.
Yeah
I believe it
hey grenade
the funny thing is, nearly all self employed workers like electricians painters etc etc
they all make most of their money under the table
but we know what the agenda is
its good for them and cheaper for the customer its a win/win except for the state
who dont get to take 50%
