Just buy some soap

"Illegal"
i-it isn't actually illegal? right? @Andrew Popa 2.0
Build trains
@Ethreen42 I mean, urban planning in most of the US is quite fucked up
Imagine letting the government decide on zoning when all the new urban planners are post modernists
i dont know if its just neighborhood gossip but my family was told that we should close or windows cause choppers will come by and spray some disinfectant along the houses

Those sort of structures are not neccesarily illegal but the city council is not gonna let you build them
And the thing is
They provide affordable housing for more people using the same area whilist also looking better
We will never get another zoning plan like they had in Paris in the 19th century <:why:462286147473637407>
Did dotty the fig get yeeted?
whats the profile pic
i know pinks , our resident pony poster, either left or got yeeted
Also it's not neccesarily urban planners being "post modernists" as much as it is them wanting to provide affordable housing for people
The point is, single homes don't always cut it in dense urban environments
I’m the last hors poster
based
Tbh the best quote from a Russian politician is this america is being invaded by blacks and Hispanics
They make housing prices sky rocket
But you can have it both if you balance it right
Both single homes and apartment buildings
And on top of that you can have more beautiful architecture
@Andrew Popa 2.0 the problem is also their planning is more focused on property value over livability and natural expansion
Like the one shown in that image
Getting a permit in places like San Fransisco is like passing a camel through the eye of a needle
Literally
Because the housing prices are insanely high, yes
That's why California desperately needs a zoning reform
Thankfully their new governor approves of that apparently
High housing prices also enable people to mortgage their property for debt
In a way I have also seen this where I live
You have authentic architecture clustered in the old town center surrounded by communist era apartment block and you have single family homes in the suburbs
love that guy
pretty funny
And you have brutalism uglifying your skyline
But the main issue is not providing "beautiful" architecture as much as it is providing affordable housing
