You don't exactly want an AR helmet, you want easily togglable glasses or goggles. If a bullet we're ever to hit that helmet, it would send glass directly into your face. Nods don't do that.

2020-03-26 15:38:31 UTC

They can, with time.

2020-03-26 15:38:54 UTC

Microsoft helmet has laser scanner so it can tell you the dimension of a thing you hold in your hand

2020-03-26 15:39:17 UTC

Is it not logically conceivable that you could implant that technology into nods?

2020-03-26 15:39:28 UTC

Ofc you can

2020-03-26 15:39:38 UTC

So what's the issue, I'd rather have the nods.

2020-03-26 15:39:40 UTC

Aslo I don't like NODS format

2020-03-26 15:39:51 UTC

Okay, what about PVS-21?

2020-03-26 15:40:13 UTC

I'd rather the weight be distributed like in the pilot's AR system

2020-03-26 15:40:19 UTC

Nice and evenly

2020-03-26 15:40:24 UTC

There's a big ol fucking DOME OF GLASS

2020-03-26 15:40:27 UTC

Not to the front of your face

2020-03-26 15:40:27 UTC

DIRECTLY INFRONT OF YOUR EYES

2020-03-26 15:40:51 UTC

I don't plan on being shot in an AR helmet, am I now?

2020-03-26 15:41:09 UTC

This, is too bulky by concept.

2020-03-26 15:41:15 UTC

It needs, magic.

2020-03-26 15:41:34 UTC

Demolition ranch had some nice prot gear reviews occasionally

2020-03-26 15:41:38 UTC

Have you actually worn a standard helmet?

2020-03-26 15:41:44 UTC

Some of these modern helmets are crazy

2020-03-26 15:42:03 UTC

After an hour, your neck is stiffer than a techpriest in a server room.

2020-03-26 15:42:32 UTC

You want to add MORE weight? The reason why these pilots have no issues is because they're sat on chairs that support them.

2020-03-26 15:42:38 UTC

Vr is for gae only tho

2020-03-26 15:42:49 UTC

@Loremaster of the Sauce interesting hypothesis, unsubstantiated by facts

2020-03-26 15:43:34 UTC

This dude wears AR goggles everywhere

2020-03-26 15:43:37 UTC

That's a google glass.

2020-03-26 15:43:39 UTC

@Steyr "Thick" Shotgun does that mean that lady is against race mixing?

2020-03-26 15:43:43 UTC

I'm fairly certain.

Unless this is that cyborg guy who got assaulted in a paris mcdonalds.

2020-03-26 15:44:00 UTC

@Steyr "Thick" Shotgun No. It's his own design that he made way before googl glass was cool

2020-03-26 15:44:06 UTC

He is a pioneer in that area

And he controls the fucntions of the device with his brainwaves

2020-03-26 15:44:28 UTC

Absolute Chad

2020-03-26 15:45:08 UTC

Oh yeah. Here's an anecdotal fact. The first ever technophobia hate crime toward a cyborg was commited in 2012 inside a Paris Mcdonalds, where a man using a similiar circular setup was assaulted by both staff and customers who attempted to rip it from his head, despite it being bolted to his skull.

2020-03-26 15:45:16 UTC

before googl glass was cool

2020-03-26 15:45:32 UTC

There's recorded evidence too, because he designed the ring to instantly start recording if it was tugged.

2020-03-26 15:45:41 UTC

I actually think it's this dude.

2020-03-26 15:45:56 UTC
