Ya never know
Leopard vs Abrams action would be cool to witness. But I think with so many other factors they would strongly depend on combined arms to win either way.
A modern Abrams vs a Leopard, the Abrams would almost for sure win
luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuul
It really wouldn't be that interesting of a fight
Leopard is no slouch
Depleted uranium hull can only help so much
Modern tank armor is bullshit, and that's before you consider the fact that the Abrams can out-speed the Hellcat, which had paper-mache armor and couldn't be upgunned because the recoil would bend the frame
It does not stop RPGs
That's why I said it will depend on the armies and not tank models
Sad Fact: did you know most white tigers are made from the product of incest. Breeders force tigers with the gene to have sex multiple time until the produce a white tiger, then they force the new white tiger to have sex with itโs mother to produce more white tigers. ๐
Except it does? RPGs aren't very effective anti-tank weapons. You can disable a modern MBT but unless you have actual modern anti-tank rockets you're just gonna annoy the tank crew.
white cats be like
shaped charge is the most effective thing against armour today
RPG is but a delivery method
Actually, RPGs are incredibly effective based on the location of the shot. You have to remember that RPGs aren't just an explosion. It's a layer of superheated copper travelling hundreds of miles an hour through a steel plate.
That's a HEAT weapon
That's why they're used against tanks.
the AT stands for Anti-Tank
jfc
Yup.
HEAT head will melt half a meter of steel and kill what's on the inside if they get a chance to connect
Standard RPG is literally a *Rocket Propelled Grenade*
AT is just a solid chunk of uranium or similar density
Has to connect properly, modern armor is designed to diffuse it some
Often by making it trigger at the wrong angle or without a good connection
If you have layers HEAT can't do shit
or that
yeah
lol
spaced armor cheeses it
It's my understanding that HEAT is becoming a ton more common.
Weapons like it are, entirely because you don't need to rely on physics to brute force through
ya, tanks be damned.
