I like reading while listening to podcasts etc so far more new stories I'd care for I prefer to read than watch video of
anime is a nice medium, sometimes animation can be really awesome and voice acting or audio in general really adding to the mood, but it's less practical, especially for multitasking
There is some really good stuff from the Alien universe on audio.
