@Vindi yep we were advised to stay at home because there are only tests for those with asthma

2020-03-20 14:24:35 UTC

so actually x^2 is not an exponential nor is x^3

2020-03-20 14:24:44 UTC

autism kills

2020-03-20 14:24:48 UTC

you get my point

2020-03-20 14:25:00 UTC

just dont go outside and party like niggas. Ez.

2020-03-20 14:25:12 UTC

your 'technicality' has no bearing on how the situation is being handled

2020-03-20 14:25:23 UTC

@TEABAG!!! typical western minimalist intervention healthcare

2020-03-20 14:25:23 UTC

@Eccles No it is about 1,800 quid

2020-03-20 14:25:56 UTC

unlikely, it's foreign

2020-03-20 14:26:01 UTC

@Vindi Do not get me started on the swedes ... they have not closed their schools.

2020-03-20 14:26:03 UTC

my gf is a doctor. she practically prides herself on taking as little action as possible

2020-03-20 14:26:25 UTC

if someone came in with covid she'd wait until they're on death's door to administer antivirals even if the efficacy was proven

2020-03-20 14:26:41 UTC

and not test them unless they had serious symptoms

2020-03-20 14:26:44 UTC

They still think only old people get it and it is not true.... babies with other problems are getting infected and are dying

2020-03-20 14:26:50 UTC

The next time some idiot propose prohibition or tougher legislation/regulation against the alcohol industry, show them this:

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/distilleries-using-high-proof-alcohol-make-hand-sanitizer-n1161371

2020-03-20 14:26:56 UTC

point is each country has to be treated in terms of itself. it is safe to assume the error is similar between various elements within the same healthcare system; time of response, how conservative the testing, degree of error etc

2020-03-20 14:27:06 UTC

if they were just sick enough for hospital but were not worsening they'd just be like eh this seems to be resolving itself, no need to test or administer any medication

2020-03-20 14:27:08 UTC

but between countries, all bets are off

2020-03-20 14:27:19 UTC

Good time to invade france

2020-03-20 14:27:38 UTC

@Vindi exactly the protcols we have but we are now thinking of the vunerable

2020-03-20 14:27:40 UTC

i don't trust italy to be as competent in reporting as the UK

2020-03-20 14:27:57 UTC

nor are the factors contributing to spreading the disease the same

2020-03-20 14:28:06 UTC

vulnerables will be the last to receive care when it really hits the fan

@Seven Proxies Klaffen alkoholist <:smugon:512048583806025739> just buy 25L propan-2-ol costs like 50 euro or 500kr.

2020-03-20 14:28:46 UTC

@ManAnimal there are 3 varying strains of the disease and it depends on which country you live in is dependent on how it reacts

2020-03-20 14:28:50 UTC

UK has been totally incompetent at reporting. their strategy was basically let it rip until like 2 days ago. they never really rolled out serious testing. they only test severe, mysterious cases

2020-03-20 14:29:10 UTC

@Vindi actually, it will be MUCH better to get the disease early because even if the zoomers don't get it for 18 months, by then there will be no equip and other resources to treat them

2020-03-20 14:29:20 UTC

in australia you need a history of travel AND **severe** viral pneumonia to qualify for a test

2020-03-20 14:29:37 UTC

Gotta tackle this demographic issue somehow, Vindi

2020-03-20 14:29:51 UTC

odds are many could die from just not having the drugs and even other diseases triggered by degrading condiitions

2020-03-20 14:29:59 UTC

not sure about that. if you wait long enough there may be a vaccine or at least antivirals the west is willing to give you after 5 billion clinical trials

2020-03-20 14:30:03 UTC

@Vindi there is a mild version and there is a full on... hits your circulatory system like a mother fucker, version and then there is an oxygen sucker

2020-03-20 14:30:20 UTC

Remember kids: If the government hadn't made it illegal to distill your own alcohol at home... You could've made your own damn hand sanitizer right now.

2020-03-20 14:30:41 UTC

The oxygen sucker one, basically is respiratory

Who cares, do it anyway.

or just stock propan-2-ol <:smugon:512048583806025739>

2020-03-20 14:31:09 UTC

also, the most important thing for millennials and zoomers is that you may wind up with permanent lung damage. it's the boomer remover but also the zoomer ztopper

2020-03-20 14:31:12 UTC

but the one for you circulatory system just has that chest pain and stuff feeling

2020-03-20 14:31:32 UTC

@Vindi the latest paper says 18 months for a vaccine minimum. the sigmoud function describing infections is WAY too steep. projections say it will not only overwhelm our production capacity for medical equipment but do so x10
