Could it be social due to the parents' role in early life development?
Or does the study account for that?
And, it's shown that heritability of IQ only increases as you grow older
@Vigil but you can learn and teach things yourself and get things others don't.
According to that study, it's not only genetic, it's also environmental
Yeah, yeah, the nurture vs. Nature argument that social constructionists love so much....
And I've shown that environmental factors account less as you grow older, Codes
I've always believed that it was a bit of both.
I suggest reading Robert Plomin's Blueprint. He exgensively shows data about how much genetics affects literally aspect of everyone
Real spooky, your exactly correct
From Eye colour, height, weight, to mental ability, school performance, and even depression
Dont let these idiots tell you otherwise
Codes, I've presented two studies proving my points
Do you have anything?
Because if its mostly genetics it means that a ton of people are lost and we can't do anything for them or about that.
i gave him like 10 studies yesterday
here we fucking go again :_D
Jasse, I cant take you seriously
and then he got absolutely rekt by krist😂
Krist didnt do anything?
@Stefan Payne I like this line from Blueprint, "Genetics predicts what is, not what could be"
See even kris admits it
You can have a low IQ, but you can work hard and become successful
Problem with jasse is that he was saying that all blacks are stupid becuase they are black
He was also being antisemitic too
```You can have a low IQ, but you can work hard and become successful```
Only if you don't fall under a certain point. And that is somewhere between 85-90 or so.
So like I cant take him seriously
Codes, I don't support basically any of jasse's opinions, and I'm not alt right. However, IQ is very real, and one of the greatest achievements of psychology
There are alot of reasons for success, IQ conscientious and luck is also one.
@Cody thats stawman.
cant even quete me on that.
i said repeatedly bellcurve but you dont seem to care
and of course alot more reasons
If you deny it, you will have to be denying actual science
And actually force people into a situation they are not up to.
Problem is not that I deny its genetic, it's that your denying that it's not also environmental
Both play a huge role in the deviation in iq
@Cody never denied that enviroment plays part.
but its mostly genetic as studeis show.
But I have data that shows that environmental factors accounts for *less* as you grow older @Cody
Which I have posted
