Anyway, my point is that I'm not seeing anyone trying to overturn the SC ruling. I don't think gay marriage is an issue. You don't need outright support for it; you just need indifference.
You could argue that anyone crazy enough to marry an inanimate object should be off the marriage market anyway.
Antireal... do you want to risk any gains the LGBT has gotten through hard work?
What do you mean?
It has to be done right, the first time or they will spend decades regaining what they lost?
i brought goodies
The Averse reaction people will have from being forced to do something that they think is against their will.
Basically lots of religious people think it is against their religion to marry LGBT couples.
Nothing's at risk. No one opposes it. Not the Republican party, not the Democrats, not the Libertarians... It's a non-issue as far as I can tell.
Yes, I get it, but they're not campaigning to reverse the SC decision.
Someone should make an Oregon Trail game in relation to the migrant caravan.
It is in human nature to hate things forced upon them, even if that something is good for them.
Look at the anti-vaccination campaign.
The more we push, the more they double down.
@Dusty Morgan there does need to be a seperation of social contracts though. Speficially marriage was designed to force the male to support the biological child he had with his wife to handle inheritance and land division among blood relatives
I am looking from a standpoint of having Psychology taught to me in college.
Granted I didn't get a full 4 year course, but I have 2 years under my belt of learning about psychology. You need psychology when it comes to getting a business degree.
You're saying that there'll be a counter movement as a result to it being forced, but I'm just not seeing one.
Well it hasn't been forced on people yet.
Not many.
Having it made a Amendment will mean people who are constitutionalist, majority of them Republicans will support it and protect that right.
The has to be a case before the court can overturn precedent
The court can't out of the blue say "Yeah, we don't like that, so that's gone"
marriage was a social construct, not around there being a man and woman, but the resulting children from the two in the end. The man and woman were simply means to an end of that goal of producing heirs
They have done that time and time again Antireal.
I followed watching the court.
Many times they go against the will of the people.
When has legal precedent been overturned without a case?
Look what happen with Trump's executive orders, many activist judges blocking his executive orders based on party lines.
so this is what will be done to caravan upon arrival but yet again we will be doing news for shock value so muh evil Reps and Trump is a nazi rhetoric... pathetic.
Let's change topic to Antifa being banned.
Good. They are participating in terrorist activities.
stop avoiding caravan issues
I haven't avoided it. I spoke about it for hours.
Today.
I am just changing topic to something else.
