all of SAO was shite. The various arcs were dragged out too far and barely touched anything together. As I said, it had maybe 5 episodes of content. The entire run on anime could've been a single 12 ep netflix special, and it could've been good then, but not what we got.

anime is really an industry about throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks though. Absolute ton of it, and so much trash and metric tons of crazy.. but surprising gems as well
