people will still buy an open source game to save the labor of compiling it
"This is a case that I have worked on passionately since 2012 ... to ensure that justice is done which was handed down by the Pakistan Supreme Court only recently," he wrote. "What I found shocking, is that the British Government is failing to put into practice the core values that our country stands for; religious freedom, justice, morally doing the right thing, and that when we see injustice where an individual’s life is in clear danger and they have been persecuted for their faith, we do all we can to help them."
same as wordpress's plugin
Yeah no shit... they don't practice that on their own citizens.
you can just go to github.com and get the woocommerce subscriptions plugin for free
but people pay 300 bucks every day
for that
much more than a game. much simplier code
so it hasn't been tried in games
ppl will pay for good stuff
sure; I mean heck, even a patreon with proper updates on the progress could do the trick
Goverment should only be helping their citizens, if citizens want to start grassroot movements to help people of the world, more power to them, I don't pay taxes for other countries.
but I guess we'll have to wait for StarCitizen to finish, first xD
@D5chU yeah. in fact a few games i know have crowd funding
one has like 80k on kickstarter
total sales like 2 mil i think
code, actually, never really was the problem of FOSS games
visuals
and i took some of this games code, repurposed it for my own needs
not even a game. It's file hosting
i can only imagine the libraries we would have for different fields
indeed. I wouldn't wanna miss it, myself. Everytime a tool misses something, I can just add it
that's awesome
yeah i think supporting more open source, sorta crowd funded businesses.
that is really good for the ecosystem
games , just are not popular yet with open source. only a select few have done it
and executed and didn't just crumble
wow
that video
finally finished it
so sad
LOOOOOL da return feels
fallout 76 is 100% a scam
luckily ive never felt the need to return a game ive bought
but mind you
it is
Maybe they will patch it an add some stuff to it to make it a game
ive bought less than 10 games in the last 2-3 years
I've pre-ordered 2 games in my life at 37 years old. One a MMORPG from 1999 and monster hunter world
