Well, OPM is a really complex plot, it isn't just poking fun at Overpowered characters, it begins at the eventual ending of what an Overpowered character would be and how cynical he would end up.

It's shows where knowing about your opponent and clever combat that I really enjoy more. Even if it's silly in some ways, it's better than DBZ fights. DBZ is like... childsplay getting into anime since there's no thought, it's just "YELL LOUDER AND AM STRONGER"

Bleach... Bleach had the perfect setup to really play up on this idea of clever tactics since each sword had different magic powers and some of them are CRAZY. But... fuck... it just turned into another "must train, okay now I scream more to be more power."
