Communism, like most political philosophies, is morally neutral. Honestly, I would love for a series to take a critical look at Communism through it's actual ideological failings rather than simply repeating the word "Equality" over and over again and putting that next to what is otherwise fascist iconography. There's a lot to unpack regarding Communism, and you could get an entire series out of the simple reality that Communism's overwhelming belief that tyranny is an alien force and "the people" are inherently good once they have their freedom returned to them makes it extremely susceptible to systemic rot and domination by fascism, but nobody seems to want to do that. They'd rather point at the Soviet Union circa World War II and go "Look at that Communist Dictatorship!" when in reality Communist countries only get that way because the vast majority of Communists sincerely believe that once they throw off their oppressors and establish a society for the people, that new oppressors won't rise from the grave, and so they don't design a system that makes it harder for duplicitous fucks to consolidate power. But that would require an understanding of Communist philosophy that goes beyond dipshit Cold War propaganda and actually bothering to read any Communist literature. And most Americans are so terrified of being labeled as Communists that they stubbornly persist in their ignorance.
