M4's are hard, you can't get real one's because of ban's, so you have to get a civilian version, which is basically a more uppity AR15.

AR's are really good, if upkept, that is the issue, they need to be constantly maintenanced and cleaned, while there are other rifles which can be used rough and get really fucking gritty and will still fire.

That's why alot of people really fucking wanted the US to adopt the FAL, but our upper's wouldn't allow that, and personally sabotaged it in tests, and chose the other platform, even if not as good, because they didn't want the US using a foreign made gun (Belgium), because that wouldn't look good they thought.

Also being the AR broke easily, it was cheaper to make.
