I also ordered tactical pants, because i ruined my grey pants aswell, the tactical pants are jeans, but with like 8 hidden pocket's, and extra stiching in the crotch and bending area's, to allow more felxibility and long use.

Military boots, if you get them repaired by a professional every couple years, sole rebuilt, etc, can last you a lifetime.
