8 years is pretty much minimum for Marines.

Civilian life is shit from all i've seen

It’s easier going reserve to active duty then it is national guard to active duty. But it’s still hard

I know there’s a time limit where if you get out you can still join, but it’s not reserve

Once you get out there's a few months where some guy who's... Kind of a recruiter will try to get you to go back into being active

At least that's what my recruiter said when I aske him about that

It's funny, I found out that if you immediately get out of the Marines and then enlist in the army, you don't even have to do boot camp.

If you get out of the Marines and want to join the airforce, air Force forces you to live 2 years of civilian life before enlisting, I guess they don't want hard ass Marines in the air Force.
