god, there's one solid theme in DBZ

Raditz flat out didn't know how Goku and Piccolo could raise their power

frieza at minimal power could instantly blow up planet vegeta by waiving his finger slightly.. at full power launching a focused attack he started a 5 min timer that lasted 5 hours

The reason why the explosion of namek exploding slowly was a mistake on frieza's part

Me saying that DBZ is basically the Pro Wrestling of the Anime World is NOT me saying DBZ sucks.

DBZ was my first anime. I have very fond memories of it.

But if you compare it to something like Naruto, Naruto's got a whole hell of a lot more going on in it.

The first part is a fair assessment, the second...it was the same attack iirc

DBZ Abridged pretty much gets right all the stuff that the original messes up.

i'd have to go back and watch, but i'm assuming he simply didn't have the power
