that probably is theft.

2018-11-27 02:07:02 UTC

naw...its misapproriation

2018-11-27 02:07:24 UTC

if you pay for a car and recieve a donkey is that theft or fraud?

2018-11-27 02:07:35 UTC

Both?

2018-11-27 02:07:41 UTC

Our state just gave 300 million dollars to dental programs to decrease dental issues and increase the amount of consumers using dental services.

2018-11-27 02:07:48 UTC

no, its fraud

2018-11-27 02:08:13 UTC

but I would call fraud a kind of theft.

2018-11-27 02:08:28 UTC

That money went to people going out and talking about teeth and how to be aware of it.

2018-11-27 02:08:30 UTC

Or you can just say taxes are fraud now

2018-11-27 02:08:34 UTC

i could see an argument for that

2018-11-27 02:08:35 UTC

<:NPC:500042527231967262>

2018-11-27 02:08:39 UTC

like

2018-11-27 02:08:46 UTC

Say you agree to sell me a gold coin

2018-11-27 02:08:57 UTC

and instead of the gold coin you give me a chocolate coin

2018-11-27 02:09:11 UTC

you "stole" the difference in value between the gold coin and the chocolate coin from me

2018-11-27 02:09:13 UTC

buyer beware

2018-11-27 02:09:27 UTC

what taxes are used for is completely irrelevant in terms of the act, as is the case what a robber uses their loot for, nobody cares and it has no bearing on the act
if the robber uses your stolen money to buy you a burger or vegan food, it doesnt turn the robbing into charity or legitimate trade

2018-11-27 02:09:28 UTC

Lol theft is the stealing of ones property

2018-11-27 02:10:03 UTC

What taxes are used for is the reason we even have social programs lol

2018-11-27 02:10:06 UTC

@NativeInterface But that isn't what taxes are.

2018-11-27 02:10:35 UTC

Otherwise the governments coffers would be full or sending all that money to build weapons

2018-11-27 02:10:48 UTC

Most people tend to be okay with taxes is why it becomes fraud for those people

2018-11-27 02:10:50 UTC

Taxes supposedly are an agreement to pay money to live in an area for that area's government to provide the services that private industry can not provide.

2018-11-27 02:11:12 UTC

So taxes are legal extortion by the state, which provides sevices....

2018-11-27 02:11:13 UTC

taxes are a forced purchase with the justification your consent is assumed by you happening to exist within the borders, without needing your actual explicit consent

2018-11-27 02:11:17 UTC

no taxes = no army = we all speak hadji now

2018-11-27 02:11:32 UTC

such as when President Obama said we need money for "Shovel Ready Projects"

2018-11-27 02:11:52 UTC

and then he got a boatload of money for it..

2018-11-27 02:12:01 UTC

and then next campaign he wanted more money for roads and bridges

2018-11-27 02:12:08 UTC

where did that first wave of money go to?

2018-11-27 02:12:10 UTC

or Sylondra

2018-11-27 02:12:18 UTC

i think thats how you spell it

2018-11-27 02:12:41 UTC

Taxes can be theft but it depends on the person who disagrees with paying the taxes, however people can still choose to leave a country but there are not currently tax free places from what I understand so it would require sezing land and creating a psuedo government to achieve that

2018-11-27 02:13:33 UTC

personal sovereignty within borders is outlawed

2018-11-27 02:13:47 UTC

That is why you have to make your own borders

2018-11-27 02:14:06 UTC

Which probably ends with bloodshed or a sponsorship by someone powerful

2018-11-27 02:14:07 UTC

I want a country called ignoramisity

2018-11-27 02:14:54 UTC

without personal sovereignty over yourself or your property you can drop all pretenses of freedom, imo

2018-11-27 02:15:14 UTC

Lol freedom to be told what freedom is
