@Abel true to a degree, not all of them though. You can be kind in accordance to a system of ethics, too. And setting a few basic premises (ethics are similar to math in that regard, except there is one specific form of math which works representing the real world, not that other forms of math would be less valid but they would be less useful) runs a far smaller risk of discriminatory behaviour. Most people would find it hard to limit whos fate has to be considered a priori, they would want to establish to themselves that there is a good reason for it. Thus, if you say the wellbeing of sentient beings is relevant, that includes everyone. You could still argue about wether it would be good to kill low IQ people to achieve more but since that could hit a relative of you thats unlikely to be accepted en masse.

2018-12-03 04:29:04 UTC

Rip essay

2018-12-03 04:29:49 UTC

and that killing low iq people is only possible to argue for under some assumptions about the result and some ethical systems.

2018-12-03 04:30:17 UTC

I just posted that vid earlier @Redneo because it was similar to the topic of judicial review.

2018-12-03 04:30:32 UTC

they just sue everyone all the time for no reason

2018-12-03 04:30:42 UTC

fuckin people and their sueing shit

2018-12-03 04:30:51 UTC

ethical hedonism for instance wouldnt allow that becouse not only is net-pleasure what is valued but freedom for everyone to do stuff that doesnt directly harm anyone also is.

2018-12-03 04:31:05 UTC

thats the most important part, actualy

2018-12-03 04:31:16 UTC

Suing was a waying to counter unfair situations, now people take advantage of it.

2018-12-03 04:33:11 UTC

if you made people donate blood each time they sued people less lawsuits would be filed.

2018-12-03 04:33:44 UTC

most of these suits are done thru dummy corps they wont donate blood. lol

2018-12-03 04:35:13 UTC

Donate cash

2018-12-03 04:35:27 UTC

well you kinda do donate cash
