it's probably worth the time to document the tremendous gap between the public and private policies and narratives at these companies

the reason they wanted to be neutral was that communications decency act immunity (s 230, CDA) was afforded to "neutral platforms"

however, the replacement for NAFTA, the USMCA, restates the CDA s230 language but with no "neutral platform" requirement

given that the US is signatory to this treaty, and given that the supremacy clause obligates judges to render rulings that are consistent with treaties,
the large platforms are all moving away from neutrality
