demolitions of buildings don't start with damaging a high up floor

they do the base, and certain structural floors all at the same time

that way it falls onto its footprint

not damaging surrounding structures

the twin towers fell straight down

supposedly, only a higher floor was damaged, but it all collapsed at the same time as if all floors were rigged with thermite for a demolition
