Just got my first plate carrier, question I have with it is I adjusted the shoulder straps and there’s no where to tuck them so they just hang In front of the vest. Any solutions for this or do I just have to get used to it

In my limited military experience electrical tape was commonly used to tidy up dangling straps on packs and equipment.

Duct tape works great long term for policing up straps and gear. 100mph tape is even better. Electrical is alright but plan to replace often

what's the best way to familiarize myself with guns even if i don't have access to any irl

I started with just hoping around gun shops and asking

i was using this simulated gun app on my phone to figure out how to operate a bunch of them but i still don't know how to take apart and clean most guns

my goal is to become a stacked gun druid in the woods with my own metalworking shop

Go to a range and rent, usually not prohibitively expensive but either that or make friends with access to common types

I was blessed with freedom loving gun friends

Or try working one and work a counter, they might have you clean their rentals at the end of shift

I don’t know many who wouldn’t take the opportunity to have someone clean their guns after a range trip, or even let you practice stripping them while supervised, honestly just gauge where he stands and see if he’s willing to help you out

say if the boog were to kick off, and all the militias were to get a tad more organized, do you reckon there would be the logistics in place to recruit people from foreign countries willing to join the cause?

@Potion Seller I have mixed feelings. I wouldn't have any ethical qualms about people who want to become Americans joining, but I personally would view "mercenary style" recruiting to be more of a liability than a benefit.
