The ass cheeks of big gay?

2018-12-14 23:16:04 UTC

Youtube is not as secure a monopoly as a utility, but it does have monopoly power due to network effects.

2018-12-14 23:16:11 UTC

Youtube is a net-loss,

So no other company wants to compete,

How do you break up a monopoly in a market thats failing

2018-12-14 23:16:17 UTC

Then he started making the point that it is impossible to be attractive AND smart

2018-12-14 23:16:21 UTC

Like wtf

2018-12-14 23:16:23 UTC

People use Youtube because everyone else uses youtube.

2018-12-14 23:16:24 UTC

There are competitors anyway though

2018-12-14 23:16:28 UTC

that too

2018-12-14 23:16:40 UTC

most competitors can't compete cuz the market just isn't there

2018-12-14 23:16:42 UTC

We had a great solution for the "Utility Problem" in Germany, before Privatization: The local gouvernments are the ones responsible for them, wich means the People.

2018-12-14 23:16:48 UTC

Smart people tend to be attractive e

2018-12-14 23:16:49 UTC

The primary issue competition is facing right now is MasterCard leaning on them

2018-12-14 23:16:59 UTC

@Crimsom thats my goal.

2018-12-14 23:16:59 UTC

Bitchute is just as good as Youtube in terms of functionality (from the user perspective anyway), but nobody uses it because nobody else uses it.

2018-12-14 23:17:05 UTC

^

2018-12-14 23:17:29 UTC

That was always going to be a slow shift though

2018-12-14 23:17:30 UTC

```Bitchute is just as good as Youtube in terms of functionality (from the user perspective anyway), but nobody uses it because nobody else uses it.```
Quality of the Videos aren't there as well.
Seems like 1,5MBit at most
2018-12-14 23:17:37 UTC
@Swedishmafia101 Ah yes, the "I'm "smart" so I shouldnt work out crowd." Literally a dingus. I work out quite often and still have stellar preformance in college. A small amount of excercise a day, and a bit of sophistication in the way you dress and you can easily be attractive.
2018-12-14 23:17:41 UTC
So with a big enough external disruption that can flip quickly, but the current monopoly has the market power to stifle disruption.
2018-12-14 23:17:47 UTC
Gradual exodus as YouTube drives away its userbase with poor practices
2018-12-14 23:17:57 UTC
Yeah
2018-12-14 23:18:06 UTC
Just let YouTube keep bleeding itself dry
2018-12-14 23:18:09 UTC
Only Youtube can bring down Youtube.
2018-12-14 23:18:17 UTC
@>_ CRAWLING IN MY SKIN!
2018-12-14 23:18:19 UTC
I believe that anyone can be attractive if they just try
2018-12-14 23:18:23 UTC
if Youtoube wouldn't fight for its market, i'd wager it would split a bit,
Bitchute like 20-30% market
Youtube 70-80%
Simply due to people being too lazy to leave
2018-12-14 23:18:25 UTC
and Youtube has a female (Affirmative Action???) CEO, wich means they will be going down like Yahoo!
2018-12-14 23:18:30 UTC
Youtube, for example, could cut revenue for creators that mirrored their content elsewhere.
2018-12-14 23:18:37 UTC
kind of like how Android and IOS are
2018-12-14 23:18:44 UTC
Im not sure youtube can even bring youtube down. the consumer is pretty trained.
2018-12-14 23:18:46 UTC
@Swedishmafia101 Applies to 90% of things in life. Just try and put the work in.
2018-12-14 23:18:53 UTC
Exactly
2018-12-14 23:19:17 UTC
Like any other company, the worst enemy of the company is itself. And its inability to give the consumer what the consumer wants
2018-12-14 23:19:38 UTC
There's also the horizontal integration of other Google products that gives Youtube massive benefits.
2018-12-14 23:19:50 UTC
don't companies tend to get rid of their talent as it becomes more successful/established?
2018-12-14 23:19:58 UTC
The YT app comes pre-installed on all Google devices.
2018-12-14 23:19:58 UTC
Google is a shit company that doesn’t care about consumers
2018-12-14 23:20:04 UTC
until it's full of nepotistic hires and stuff
2018-12-14 23:20:04 UTC
I have no classical training in painting, but I taught myself how and sold enough paintings to buy my first car (900$ used) at 18.
