Alright guys. I got a question. I gots poor people steel plates. We went and shot the side plate and its taken a punishing. 338 win mag punched through it. Now I'm concerned about spall. I'm thinking some soft armor in front of the steel plates may mitigate that. Any input?

I can't afford ceramic and yes my life isnt worth the 500 a set plates I cant afford it.

I was thinking, if you can buy kevlar of some sort. Depending on how expensive it is, you could just wrap it around it and stuff it in your carrier
