That usually goes to ammo and range time but I can live without more a month or 2

at the very stretch of that 450 for a good ballistic helmet is tough

the only reason I would really buy a helmet would be to mount nvg's which I don't currently own

just a helmet alone takes a toll on your neck in a pretty bad way and is pretty awful concealment wise

your money would probably be better spent looking at improving other parts of your kit that may be lacking or outdated

range time and ammo are a good use of that, unless you can find a way to save more money on food etc.

my suggestion and solution at least in my experience (poor kid 6 years running) is there is always areas to save more
