Hey bois if I was going to consider getting a rugged ak47 or ak74 what manufacturer would I look at for the "best"?

I've just heard a lot of things about the AK platform both good and bad so I've never put in a lot of time to understand what's good and what's not.

Just from experience AK platform and equipment, mags etc is heavy compared to AR platform and what not
