What do y’all know ab Davidson Defense
They got some cheap uppers I’m looking at
I know that i need to sshit
Pretty decent looking too
@One Shot Paddy Davidson?
Yea
Here’s the one I’m looking at
Oh shit yeah nice
.223 Wylde for less than 200 bucks
@One Shot Paddy I don’t know about them, definitely do some research
Please do
I ab to drop some money on an upper and optic
Something with many explosions next to your face probably should be tested for QC
I’m ab to be good now
I just checked
And their omega defense under a different name
No good?
A .223 is a lower pressure round and will shoot (MAYBE not reliably) out of a 5.56 built rifle BUT a rifle designed for .223 with a 5.56 has a (tiny) chance of busting the chamber. A wylde barrel is tighter to allow more pressure for accurate shooting of a .223 but has been known (not often) to not chamber 5.56 because of reasons (not sure why tho)
I was told .223 wylde could take 556
But not regular 223
I was told it takes both
I found a good CMMG upper tho for 280
I was too but in building my rifle I did a couple hrs of reaserch and the above statement is what i was able to gather from a shid load of gunsmitting forums. it will if you want a .223 to take 5.56 but any 5.56 should take .223
It’s just a CMMG rail and a DPMS upper actually
Im very confused this is why i wanna buy a prebuilt
What are you confused ab
.223 and 5.56 are different (barely)
I kmow that
Im confused bexause i thought .223 wylde could take both despite being labeled 223.
A rifle built for .223 (should not) be fed 5.56 because it is a higher pressure round
I know it isnt backwards compatible usually. Like a .38 goies into .357 but not reverse
And .380 into 9mm
Right
