2018-12-15 15:11:15 UTC

2018-12-15 15:11:18 UTC

@Graylan | gray00 if you can create 500 million quickly, it's not a big deal

2018-12-15 15:11:28 UTC

My point isn't whether any of this is true or not. My point is that crypto will be regulated.

2018-12-15 15:11:31 UTC

Time's person of the year "The Press" fuck the press

2018-12-15 15:11:38 UTC

@DrYuriMom already regulated.

2018-12-15 15:11:52 UTC

crypto already is super regulated

2018-12-15 15:11:54 UTC

yeah

2018-12-15 15:12:10 UTC

under regular aml and kyc laws

2018-12-15 15:12:23 UTC

styx is on the crypto life.

2018-12-15 15:12:35 UTC

which is why you have to take a selfie and handprint and leave urinal samples at bitcoin atms

2018-12-15 15:13:04 UTC

@NativeInterface localbitcoins

2018-12-15 15:13:10 UTC

I have bitcoin and I haven't been able to exchange it for real money.

2018-12-15 15:13:12 UTC

you can trade hand to hand like crack. how can they stop that?

2018-12-15 15:13:22 UTC

localbitcoins it's easy

2018-12-15 15:13:32 UTC
2018-12-15 15:13:34 UTC

and have fun

2018-12-15 15:13:49 UTC

i don't think tim is going to be able to make a living that way

2018-12-15 15:13:57 UTC

theres also an app called "Bisq" where you can trade btc-dollars, dollars-btc peer to peer with people without an exchange

2018-12-15 15:13:58 UTC

@Ash binance has USDT.....

2018-12-15 15:14:02 UTC
2018-12-15 15:14:13 UTC

there's a difference between proof-of-concept and actually making an income

2018-12-15 15:14:22 UTC

And no one has even mentioned the elephant in the room.

2018-12-15 15:14:23 UTC

I've had exchanges seize the tiny amounts I've tried to take out, ask me to give them ridiculous amount of identification including, passport, real life picture, holding passport, sending signatures, home address verification with bank statements, it's ridiculous.

2018-12-15 15:14:25 UTC

@NativeInterface bisq sucks. bitshares better than bisq

2018-12-15 15:14:26 UTC

TAXATION

2018-12-15 15:14:39 UTC

@DrYuriMom so what? you make profit you pay tax? welcome to life

2018-12-15 15:14:51 UTC

capital gains tax is evil

2018-12-15 15:15:08 UTC

Governments will absolutely not countenance a mechanism to perform transactions that does not show as income or for sales tax

2018-12-15 15:15:21 UTC

@Ash bitshares is a dex no one can ban you

2018-12-15 15:15:39 UTC

Every time you perform a transation, your state (if it has a sales tax) or nation (if it has a GST) gets its cut

2018-12-15 15:15:40 UTC

and dont keep money in exchanges they are scammers

2018-12-15 15:15:40 UTC

thats where i think the online piracy comparison comes into play, because if tax evasion gets easier and more risk free, there will be more people doing it
