um, legally dont need to show ID, but if asked, need to provide drivers license to local cop shop if involved at a stop whilst driving

UK does not need to carry legal ID, and the country does not issue any legal ID for every day carry

I've learned that it's best just to do what they ask and fight it later if something comes out of it
