the democrats took in 272 million in donations (from people like the koch brothers) and spent 290 million in the campaign for the house back in november. They are now 18 million in the hole and their donors are backing off because they did not get what they paid for

spending 290 million for a slight bump in the house, which has the least power, while letting the senate (and the judge picks) go red. The people funding that much have been fuming at that waste
