I was thinking about RWBY and something clicked.

The White Fang could easily be an analogy to left wing activist groups.

In the beginning, the White Fang (a Faunus rights group) wanted equality and representation with the humans, but after certain people took power, all they wanted is superiority.

Same thing could be said about feminist groups and Antifa.

Those groups wanted equal rights in the beginning, but after certain types of people took power, they started leading the group in an entirely different direction.
