Edit: On the off chance anyone else reads this, I’m liberal as fuck, but it appears that a group unrelated to the kids and natives riled people up and it devolved from there but definitely is more nuanced than either side has been saying. Both basic interpretations of, “Kids shout racist stuff” and “Drummer antagonizes kids” appear incorrect. I’m an American expat so I check in on the news only every now and again. Anyways people should watch this or flip through it before making opinions.
Also I looked through this by skipping in fifteen second increments to get the gist of who the different parties in this were and their affiliations.
Edit2: Also to clarify the guys (Native, Black Islamicists , and some of the Kids) who were shouting racist stuff are all wankers. Rhetoric and honest conversation work, insults just polarize. “
Edit3: Just watched the little snippet of talking that the drummer did saying that the kids were chanting “build the wall, build the wall,” and in spite of how I perceive how things went down and my neutrality on Drummer, that is a lie unless there is a video somewhere that clearly has it and I haven’t found it. I listened over and over and the kids never chanted anything about a wall.
