@Orteid not sure about best email encryption but at least I do have an easy way to share files that is semi secure. Break a file into encrypted multizip files. Set up a dropbox, msn live, google, etc cloud storage, install their apps or setup a network share to your online folder, break the files up into them in uneven amounts, have the source where they are supposed to go do the same. For more advanced work you can symlink it as well

and don't send and receive email on a machine which runs web applications

even if they're in separate VMs

that way each seperate cloud storage account will get some of the files but not enough to make sense of a thing, they will then each seperately push the files to the destination
