Here, if you're working with your hands and doing a job like mining, electrician, plumbing, education doesn't matter much

2019-01-27 22:39:35 UTC

I know people that didn't go to college, but are making 6 figures doing HVAC work.

2019-01-27 22:39:39 UTC

Cool

2019-01-27 22:40:05 UTC

I don't wanna go college my skills in school are bad

2019-01-27 22:40:32 UTC

Yeah definitely check out a trade then, learn to weld or do plumbing or something and you'll be fine

2019-01-27 22:40:52 UTC

Will do

2019-01-27 22:41:34 UTC

What about riseing a family is that getting harder or easier or depends or stats

2019-01-27 22:41:39 UTC

States

2019-01-27 22:41:41 UTC

carpentry also makes a decent wage around me

2019-01-27 22:41:50 UTC

depends on area

2019-01-27 22:41:55 UTC

All trades make decent wage.

2019-01-27 22:42:06 UTC

Compared to a 4 year degree.

2019-01-27 22:42:09 UTC

As far as raising a family I think that's mostly the same, but if you need a bigger house or apartment then the cost changes by area

2019-01-27 22:42:15 UTC

in my area the costs of living are less then 20% of what they are where my sister lives

2019-01-27 22:43:10 UTC

Example, in Maryland, you can own a house with an acre of land with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and pay 1,200 a month in mortgage, but in New York City, you might end up paying 3,000 a month for a one bedroom shitty apartment

2019-01-27 22:43:15 UTC

Do need be 21 to drink beer in texas👍🤔

2019-01-27 22:43:29 UTC

and around me that same house is 600 to 900 @mikeflarkin

2019-01-27 22:43:50 UTC

If you can't afford living in NYC

2019-01-27 22:43:54 UTC

Don't live there

2019-01-27 22:44:06 UTC

@Misomania I know there are places that cheap in MD as well, my place was maybe 20 minutes outside of DC though.

2019-01-27 22:44:07 UTC

Problem solved.

2019-01-27 22:44:12 UTC

@mikeflarkin so if I make 80k per how is gonna take form earning

2019-01-27 22:44:20 UTC

@mikeflarkin while a 2 bedroom apartment for my sister is over 3grand

2019-01-27 22:44:57 UTC

i think it went up another few hundred on jan 1

2019-01-27 22:45:00 UTC

If you're making 80k a year, you'll be fine outside of most cities. I've never lived in a big city, so not too sure how well that would translate

2019-01-27 22:45:08 UTC

due to the new tax to pay for the camp fire

2019-01-27 22:45:21 UTC

Long Island is rather expensive

2019-01-27 22:45:29 UTC

How long can I be in us army🤔

2019-01-27 22:45:34 UTC

If I join

2019-01-27 22:45:51 UTC

Depends on age when you join and what rank you attain I believe

2019-01-27 22:46:03 UTC

Till you take a bullet in the head

2019-01-27 22:46:04 UTC

2019-01-27 22:46:06 UTC

2019-01-27 22:46:17 UTC

2019-01-27 22:46:19 UTC

2019-01-27 22:46:26 UTC
