Been reading a lot of gore horror lately. Shit's amazing
Holy shit this leftist is trying to tell me the Democrats swept the midterms lol.
I can't tell if he is lying or not.
its not willing to admit the failure
last dutch elections, the ruling party lost 1/3rd of its seats
they said the outcome was favorable 😉
Finally
Some good comics.
Well yeah that is normal and the house favors the more populated states meaning democracts
Isn't that actually normal in American politics?
its a common occurence for them yes
winning president loses congress
It looks like the monkey puppet dubya bush days all over again, but in overdrive
Orange man bad!
My child is going into college next year and I am worried that the colleges might be biased because my child goes to a catholic school. Do I have cause for concern?
Monkey Man bad!
depends on the expression and his state of mind Folic
give them full body armor for everyday school life and the flowers+bees talk before they do
if he doesn't express himself as pro-MAGA / hardcore catholic, they won't attack him
And if he's secure in his roots, he won't become a wacky socialist person
I personally have mixed opinions about college, I just say to let him be and let him live his youth to the fullest, just being there when he needs ya is all a young man could want @Folic
From his parents
Thank you Dr.
I'm sure he'll be fine Folic, but it shows you're a good father by worrying
^
outside of social interaction, the most important thing is to do really well in the actual studies, and if it's a boy since the school system prevents them from learning the "best" way for them (school is increasingly catered towards girl's attitudes and interests) i'd advise you to put him in an extracurricular sport club if it's not already done
the sport club being unrelated to the school is important
I just think that if the recruiter see the catholic school tag they might just say we don't need that. I hope that I am wrong.
quite the contrary i think they'll be glad to have student previously schooled in a religious environment
isn't that grounds for a lawsuit, refusing due to religion?
in the "we'll correct that" attitude
i'd say just make sure he knows his family has his back
The whole thing might be can we prove that is the fact.
one of the things that got me through college is the fact i knew i had family support in case of need
college is an awkward phase.
all of life is an awkward phase tbh.
anything new is awkward
That the fact the student was catholic and it was the factor
if it wasn't, it wouldn't be new 😉
you're confident that you raised him well and that he'll manage by during college and adulthood? @Folic
if the answer is a yes then it's all good, nothing to worry about.
well if he gets declined, you wont have to pay that tuition, so at worst you'll not have wasted money on a school that won't teach him a useful trade
i feel a bit weird giving someone around my parents age advice tbh.
