Been reading a lot of gore horror lately. Shit's amazing

2019-01-28 15:05:44 UTC

Holy shit this leftist is trying to tell me the Democrats swept the midterms lol.
I can't tell if he is lying or not.

2019-01-28 15:07:43 UTC

its not willing to admit the failure

2019-01-28 15:08:05 UTC

last dutch elections, the ruling party lost 1/3rd of its seats

they said the outcome was favorable 😉

2019-01-28 15:08:19 UTC

Finally

2019-01-28 15:08:27 UTC

Some good comics.

2019-01-28 15:09:34 UTC

Well yeah that is normal and the house favors the more populated states meaning democracts

2019-01-28 15:10:35 UTC

Isn't that actually normal in American politics?

2019-01-28 15:10:49 UTC

its a common occurence for them yes

2019-01-28 15:10:56 UTC

winning president loses congress

2019-01-28 15:11:07 UTC

It looks like the monkey puppet dubya bush days all over again, but in overdrive

2019-01-28 15:11:15 UTC

Orange man bad!

2019-01-28 15:11:16 UTC

My child is going into college next year and I am worried that the colleges might be biased because my child goes to a catholic school. Do I have cause for concern?

2019-01-28 15:11:18 UTC

Monkey Man bad!

2019-01-28 15:11:55 UTC

depends on the expression and his state of mind Folic

2019-01-28 15:12:23 UTC

give them full body armor for everyday school life and the flowers+bees talk before they do

2019-01-28 15:12:25 UTC

if he doesn't express himself as pro-MAGA / hardcore catholic, they won't attack him

And if he's secure in his roots, he won't become a wacky socialist person

2019-01-28 15:18:46 UTC

I personally have mixed opinions about college, I just say to let him be and let him live his youth to the fullest, just being there when he needs ya is all a young man could want @Folic

2019-01-28 15:19:02 UTC

From his parents

2019-01-28 15:19:09 UTC

Thank you Dr.

2019-01-28 15:20:26 UTC

Thank you Samer

2019-01-28 15:20:27 UTC

I'm sure he'll be fine Folic, but it shows you're a good father by worrying

2019-01-28 15:20:49 UTC

^

2019-01-28 15:23:22 UTC

outside of social interaction, the most important thing is to do really well in the actual studies, and if it's a boy since the school system prevents them from learning the "best" way for them (school is increasingly catered towards girl's attitudes and interests) i'd advise you to put him in an extracurricular sport club if it's not already done

2019-01-28 15:24:13 UTC

the sport club being unrelated to the school is important

2019-01-28 15:24:35 UTC

I just think that if the recruiter see the catholic school tag they might just say we don't need that. I hope that I am wrong.

2019-01-28 15:25:43 UTC

quite the contrary i think they'll be glad to have student previously schooled in a religious environment

2019-01-28 15:25:56 UTC

isn't that grounds for a lawsuit, refusing due to religion?

2019-01-28 15:26:08 UTC

in the "we'll correct that" attitude

2019-01-28 15:26:41 UTC

i'd say just make sure he knows his family has his back

2019-01-28 15:27:07 UTC

The whole thing might be can we prove that is the fact.

2019-01-28 15:27:07 UTC

one of the things that got me through college is the fact i knew i had family support in case of need

2019-01-28 15:27:56 UTC

college is an awkward phase.

2019-01-28 15:28:07 UTC

all of life is an awkward phase tbh.

2019-01-28 15:28:16 UTC

anything new is awkward

2019-01-28 15:28:21 UTC

That the fact the student was catholic and it was the factor

2019-01-28 15:28:21 UTC

if it wasn't, it wouldn't be new 😉

2019-01-28 15:29:02 UTC

you're confident that you raised him well and that he'll manage by during college and adulthood? @Folic

2019-01-28 15:29:12 UTC

if the answer is a yes then it's all good, nothing to worry about.

2019-01-28 15:29:49 UTC

well if he gets declined, you wont have to pay that tuition, so at worst you'll not have wasted money on a school that won't teach him a useful trade

2019-01-28 15:32:21 UTC

i feel a bit weird giving someone around my parents age advice tbh.
