i heard medieval or catholic schools or something used to at least teach the trivium and quadrivium, but i don't know if it was ever used in modern education
because the left believes in being morally superior it makes sense for them to justify "brainwashing" (a bit strong of a word but still) through public schools, from their point of view it would be wrong not to and it's totally benevolent
public schooling never starts with the intent of brainwashing though, it's always in the goal of making the whole of society smarter. It just inevitably gets hijacked
i thought it was the opposite, that the foundation was brain washing, but we've been trying to unsuccessfully modify it and re-purpose it for actual learning

(btw when HR gets up in front of the whole company and says promotions and pay rises will be diversity based, don't tell me feminism isn't outright hurting my bottom line profits, just saying)
