so who actually has it tough?!? huh!?! (for reals though, shit condition, hope you stay clear of complications and have good follow-up)
autoimmune diseases suck @Crimsom
The upside of my body trying to kill itself is that my immune system is much stronger than the average person.
the pacemaker issue happened in 2010 so I've been slowly recovering since then @Tinytim
@EndangeredProdigy good to hear
I just have to be careful with how much physical activity I do
gotta "pace" myself amirite
badum-tish
AAAAAY
and you can only eat one brand of salsa
oh no
Did they have you take cyclosporine ?
or not that serious?
I can't remember what medicines they gave me
ouch
c h u n k y
Miss me with that mild shit
I was too young
No, that's an immunosuppressant.
oh you weren't talking to me loll
Oh, you were talking to me?
That's what I would expect for an acute auto-immune disease.
Maybe bone marrow transplant.
Hold on, lemme go check at my med just to make sure.
Depends.
or, if you ask Jordan Peterson, just eat some meat
Not sure that meat would help.
I actually wanted to try the meat diet
well, dietary effects on auto-immune stuff is really weird
don't
@Undead Mockingbird Depends was the answer Joe Biden gave to the question, Boxers or Briefs?
but I got spooked after all the meat caused palpatations
unless you have a reason to
It's the only thing that worked for his daughter
If your own immune system is attacking you, I am not sure it will always help to switch diets.
my hypothesis is that it's the gut bacteria that are fucking shit up when they get certain foods to eat, and some are just damn unlucky and need to purge as much of it as possible
I think what I take is called Prednisolone.
