@Paradox If it is a tax then it is separating the citizen from his property by force. I'm against that except for the primary functions of government like national defense, police, courts, and some public works. I'm also ok with assessing taxes for those things where individuals cannot recover via the courts for the actions of others.

So now it's worth less unbacked currency. The only reason it still has value is because the internet hasn't destroyed it yet.
