@CasualSailor usually it starts with a lot of paper thin accusations that are so unbelieveable that even basic inspection makes it fall apart. So what they do is blast it everywhere with a lot of the 'details' missing and a lot of assumptions added in, get people pissed off then let it sink into the public's memory hole
