and then suddenly this
@King Canuck have you seen Cloak and Dagger? Surprisingly good show, got me into reading some of the comics, it's a pretty cool idea
Didn't catch up with it
@stedly Every once in a while they get snow on top of the peak of the Big Island in HI. most of the time they don't
Is Khan the one with the giant hand?
yeah
In the middle of the picture with the lightning dress
She's a polymorph
I always thought it kinda looked like Popeye's hand
shapeshifter but she mainly uses that to **EMBIGGEN** her limbs to beat the shit out of people
I bet muslim women like it rough
Does she gain any strength or is it more just a function of the increased mass?
Bit of both
we're running on comic physics, remember
She can change her appearance and she's very plastic man-y
Not as terrifyingly comprehensive as he can be
but she's got a similar powerset
I think Marvel had her as an Inhuman Mystique
Huh
So much has happened since the 90s
It's ironic because these characters have been around since the 70s
Speaking of the movies how the fuck did Black Panther get a best picture nomination and not Logan
Some since the 50s
@mikeflarkin diversity
@mikeflarkin "A DIVERSE CAST! don't question it you bigot"
^^^
I think most of Hollywood who's not on the BP train agrees that it was a dumb political push
Sounds like a lot who are on the BP train also agree
Most of the black people I know even agree that while Kilmonger was a great villain and Wakanda was a great setting and the story was pretty good, the CGI at the end fell right apart
I mean I liked the movie, but it wasn't like mind blowing
I really did like every character in that movie
Shitty CGI bruhaha fight aside, it was pretty good
I think the best glo-up was M'Baku
Logan surprised the hell out of me with how good it was though, and the noir version is fucking beautiful
To me Wakanda was sickening, honestly. It is the Ayran Ethno-state in black face.
@King Canuck M'Baku was awesome lol
Here's the funny part
in the comic, He is
Man-Ape
