Huh
When they were trying to take the focus off of the Xmen because they didn't have the movie rights
So much has happened since the 90s
It's ironic because these characters have been around since the 70s
Speaking of the movies how the fuck did Black Panther get a best picture nomination and not Logan
Some since the 50s
@mikeflarkin diversity
@mikeflarkin "A DIVERSE CAST! don't question it you bigot"

I think most of Hollywood who's not on the BP train agrees that it was a dumb political push
Sounds like a lot who are on the BP train also agree
Most of the black people I know even agree that while Kilmonger was a great villain and Wakanda was a great setting and the story was pretty good, the CGI at the end fell right apart
I mean I liked the movie, but it wasn't like mind blowing
I really did like every character in that movie
Shitty CGI bruhaha fight aside, it was pretty good
I think the best glo-up was M'Baku
Logan surprised the hell out of me with how good it was though, and the noir version is fucking beautiful
To me Wakanda was sickening, honestly. It is the Ayran Ethno-state in black face.
@King Canuck M'Baku was awesome lol
Here's the funny part
Man-Ape
Who killed and wears the skin of a sacred gorilla
or "White Ape" as he sometimes in known. Freinemies of Black Panther
I did like how they handled him
Yeah, the dynamic between him and T'Challa was really well done
you can see the old design in him
But it's far less racist, and looks far more functional
And his personality as this brutal but honorable king of the mountains was played very well
They did a good job toning it down and bringing it to life for the movie
White supremacy
I like that they took some inspiration from Roman armor for his costume
I was worried about the "hooting at martin freeman" moment but it came off well
It came off less like dumb africans yelling and more like an actual thing this tribe does to shut up someone who's not allowed to speak
And plus it was funny
So are black people who don't like trash panther considered race traitors?
Not all of them but you do hear some of that
And are white people who don't like the movie... nazis?
