@coattailsandbowties I'll keep ya updated, I really want to go as well since some serious family news went down so a break would be great lol.

There was this one little nuke plant off in the corner of the map that was constantly pissing radiation but it was always a heavy combat zone

So NPCs would roll in, fight for a bit, and keel over from radiation damage

That just sounds funny.

@Dino lemme know, if your parents want to talk to someone responsible on the other end I'd recommend *not* me 😛

Sounds like that thing in New Vegas when you dropped those radiation barrels on the Legion Camp all the legion soldiers would just run over.

The cheats were great in that game

Anyone remember Command and Conquer?

You could unlock a gun that sprayed grenades everywhere

Or a rocket launcher that fired short range ballistic missiles

That just sounds like so much explosive fun.

I haven't played C&D in like 6 years

They were just explosion sandboxes

everyone remembers command and conquer but not so many remember westwoods blade runner 😦 makes me sad

Mercs 2 on PS2 was glitchy as fuck

You could throw like 7 C4 packs on top of eachother and meelee them

So the physics would bug out and create a literal tornado of C4 that would randomly stick to different parts of your surroundings

Then you'd set them off and buildings all around would start collapsing

Sounds like an improvement

And you'd watch your faction rating just plummet all across the board.

Mercs got the sandbox formula right.

All the helecopters had magnetic winches on them

So you could pick up a truck full of troops and flail them into the side of skyscraper

Just cause 3 makes you manually winch shit to your helicopter and throw off the center of balance

Wasn't there a Mercs 2 marketing stunt in the UK where they found a random gas station and set up barbed wire and sandbags around it while giving out free gasoline?
