That's exactly what we do.

2018-11-20 20:04:14 UTC

If they start looking for food when they shouldn't it's straight to bed.

just use treats, then gradually increase the period of time before giving a treat for staying in her bed, will work eventually, even on less intelligent dogs

2018-11-20 20:04:25 UTC

she will get a click in the brain,' he makes that noise and gesture and puts me here' and will learn

2018-11-20 20:04:28 UTC

we have a like cage like thing which Idk the english word for where we put her at night, but we don't put her in there for punishment as you're not supposed to do that

2018-11-20 20:04:32 UTC

do you know the word for it?

2018-11-20 20:04:48 UTC

it's like those metal box thingies, it looks a bit like a cage

2018-11-20 20:05:13 UTC

cage/crate - I don't like them myself but they are great for dogs with anxiety problems

2018-11-20 20:05:23 UTC

one of these

2018-11-20 20:05:56 UTC

Yeah

2018-11-20 20:06:24 UTC

yeh those are good for housetraining purposes and if you dont trust your dog not to wreck the house when ur out, just train her to go there when you`re eating

2018-11-20 20:07:17 UTC

@Mandy we usually keep her out of it unless at night though, which did prove a mistake multiple times in the past

2018-11-20 20:07:33 UTC

if she finds ANYTHING that isn't nailed down she can play with, she will

2018-11-20 20:07:37 UTC

Also cover it with a light blanket at night to keep them from barking

2018-11-20 20:07:50 UTC

how old is she and what type of dog ? @Creold

i fostered dogs for years, owned soo many diff breeds and theres a lot of different training methods out there varying in levels of harshness, but if you have any probs you can DM me and I can tell you the things that worked best for me @Creold

2018-11-20 20:10:38 UTC

Hello guys!

2018-11-20 20:10:45 UTC

Get out fag @L0ki

2018-11-20 20:10:48 UTC

@Mandy last dog was same breed but was generally way more submissive and calm

2018-11-20 20:10:53 UTC

Mandy I had a dog du Bordeaux and I've never had a better breed.

2018-11-20 20:10:59 UTC

this one is pretty dominant and very very energetic

2018-11-20 20:11:08 UTC
2018-11-20 20:11:47 UTC

u may need to be slightly harsher on the training with her, or it may take a little longer but she`ll learn eventually @Creold if shes very hyper and has a high drive, then toys might work on her better than treats

2018-11-20 20:11:50 UTC

like the last one, which ironically was named Gypsy (ik lol), she would just hang out on the couch all day

2018-11-20 20:11:51 UTC

of the 4 I had - Labrador best boi

2018-11-20 20:11:58 UTC

I looked at the gore rule and according to it what Jack posted of the ''deformed goat'' is fine
