when you see shit you cant help it

2018-11-23 01:05:18 UTC

Entire fake divisions were made

2018-11-23 01:05:38 UTC

All to fool German recon planes

2018-11-23 01:06:26 UTC

No one gets out of the gulag

2018-11-23 01:06:28 UTC

Alive

2018-11-23 01:06:38 UTC

Fake radio chatter everything

2018-11-23 01:06:39 UTC

I will make sure of it

2018-11-23 01:06:46 UTC

In the days before D-day they hired a bunch of Hollywood fabricators to make a fake landing force to get the Germans to think they were going to the Netherlands instead of Normandy. They even put Patton as the CO of it. They also sent alot of fake radio transmissions and had planes routinely drop aluminum foil in the air to make it look like a lot of air traffic was happening

2018-11-23 01:06:57 UTC

I think my gulag sentence is served, is it not, gebbin?

2018-11-23 01:07:10 UTC

2018-11-23 01:07:44 UTC

godspeed 07

2018-11-23 01:07:56 UTC

@lolfire Just cause someone said you can do something a month ago does not give you a pass for life

2018-11-23 01:08:02 UTC

Just remember that going forward

2018-11-23 01:08:12 UTC

@Gebbin at the D-day point it was mostly pointless, germany had stopped flying recon planes over/around the uk because the RAF would buttrape the Luftwaffe

2018-11-23 01:08:15 UTC

Yeah, I was gonna say, I'm not using the pass from now on

2018-11-23 01:08:55 UTC

The Germans were still listening and watching

2018-11-23 01:09:11 UTC

The Luftwaffe were mostly absent around d-day though, this is what they complained about

2018-11-23 01:09:19 UTC

having no air support

2018-11-23 01:09:24 UTC

Would the equation 0 divided by 0 count as a paradox?

2018-11-23 01:09:25 UTC

@coattailsandbowties Not really. That operation diverted a ton of army divisons that would have been able to assist the defense of Normandy

2018-11-23 01:09:43 UTC

^

2018-11-23 01:09:45 UTC

The Luftwaffe were too busy fighting the Russians to care about D-day

2018-11-23 01:09:50 UTC

@Comrade Cat ☭ No just undefined

2018-11-23 01:10:02 UTC

@Comrade Cat ☭ right there, why did you think that was relevant / an interesting contribution?

2018-11-23 01:10:11 UTC

did they ever make that Churchill with floaties on it

2018-11-23 01:10:27 UTC

Im lerning about undifined slopw n my math class

2018-11-23 01:10:34 UTC

I don't think so

2018-11-23 01:10:52 UTC

But did make a Sherman that can float on water

2018-11-23 01:11:45 UTC

@Gebbin I was under the impression that they did that because of ground and sea surveillance? and that air support would have actually showed them it was a bluff because they focused on frontal image not from the sky

2018-11-23 01:11:48 UTC

@Questgiver idk i dont know how 2 contribute 2 the current conversation, whick is funny cause i actualy like world war history.

2018-11-23 01:12:00 UTC

The Panzer divisions were all kept in Paris because they didnt know where the Allies were gonna invade and they could only be moved from Hitlers direct orders, but Hitler liked to lie in he liked to wake up at the crack of noon but all of his people were too afraid to wake him up to tell him the invasion had started, so there was no tanks on D-day pretty much until like like 8 hours after the invasion

2018-11-23 01:12:47 UTC

@Comrade Cat ☭ thats fine, but just sit back and learn or go to a different channel if you dont have shit to say

2018-11-23 01:13:14 UTC

@coattailsandbowties Naa the luftwaffle was on the defence closer in the interior because of the almost daily bombing raids but the army was still a very dangerous thing with most of the divisions being seasoned veterans. They wanted to divert as much as they could cause they predicted the losses would be high

2018-11-23 01:13:19 UTC

a small amount near Normandy but the bulk were in Paris at the time so they could move between Calais and Normandy depending where the allies invaded

2018-11-23 01:13:20 UTC

@Questgiver i hav plenty of stuf 2 say just not bout this

2018-11-23 01:13:38 UTC

go to another channel then

2018-11-23 01:13:42 UTC

no
