They're thinking of using the F-35 for ground attack missions, Dim.

2018-11-27 13:56:45 UTC

The BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR is every mans wet dream and every terrorist's fucking nightmare

2018-11-27 13:56:49 UTC

I've clipped it at the correct time

2018-11-27 13:56:49 UTC

the F-35 GAU 22 is a beaut aswell

2018-11-27 13:56:55 UTC

And despite their practicality and psychological impact, there's been a push to retire them for years

2018-11-27 13:56:55 UTC

^

2018-11-27 13:56:55 UTC

a10 will always have that role though

2018-11-27 13:57:00 UTC

are the a-10's becoming lemons now Sech?

2018-11-27 13:57:08 UTC

nothing deals with tanks better than a warthog

2018-11-27 13:57:12 UTC

coloquially known as the "equalizer"

2018-11-27 13:57:13 UTC

They've been lemons for a long time

2018-11-27 13:57:21 UTC

GAU 22 is a smaller brrrt

2018-11-27 13:57:25 UTC

On the f-35

2018-11-27 13:57:29 UTC

I know

2018-11-27 13:57:35 UTC

but it's still beautiful

2018-11-27 13:57:38 UTC

They're old and they take a fuckl9ad of abuse just operating

2018-11-27 13:57:38 UTC

Gau 8 fires 30mm rounds

2018-11-27 13:57:46 UTC

and it means the F-35 can have more than just the main gun

2018-11-27 13:57:51 UTC

Naval guns are fun

2018-11-27 13:57:53 UTC

idk leeroy a dead center nuke would fuck a tank

2018-11-27 13:57:53 UTC

But they do their job so well we just kept using them

2018-11-27 13:57:56 UTC

It fits perfectly snug too, Mossad.. The design of that plane is really well done.

2018-11-27 13:57:57 UTC

Aircrafts take a lot to maintain

2018-11-27 13:57:59 UTC

did I hear right that they can fly with one wing though?

2018-11-27 13:58:02 UTC

Money and time

2018-11-27 13:58:03 UTC

Ship guns are my wet dream to work on

2018-11-27 13:58:03 UTC

Yep

2018-11-27 13:58:04 UTC

tbh

2018-11-27 13:58:12 UTC

Those things are fucking immense

2018-11-27 13:58:13 UTC

there's massive amounts of redunancy in the design?

2018-11-27 13:58:26 UTC

Here we go guys

2018-11-27 13:58:29 UTC

And with the new advancements in rail gun technology

2018-11-27 13:58:32 UTC

This is the reason tanks are useless now

2018-11-27 13:58:33 UTC

oof

2018-11-27 13:58:34 UTC

there's a thing where the same gun that's used today in Russian naval armaments caused endless problems for the MiG-27

2018-11-27 13:58:36 UTC

I can't wait

2018-11-27 13:58:37 UTC

Railguns man.

2018-11-27 13:58:42 UTC

and it's all about air superiority

"The main feature of the Warthog is its main gun," Kotz recalled. "The aircraft is literally built around its huge seven-barrel Gatling-type cannon, capable of piercing enemy tanks with its 30-mm armor-piercing or high-explosive rounds, each weighing nearly half-a-kilogram. Even a short burst is enough to destroy a column of tanks with a series of hits to their turret armor. In addition, the aircraft carries guided or unguided rockets, bombs and underwing guns."

2018-11-27 13:58:42 UTC

@AstroTorch They can fly with one engine. The only aircraft I've known to fly with a missing wing was an Israeli f15

2018-11-27 13:58:42 UTC

I can't wait to see what goes on
