2018-11-30 20:03:57 UTC

I think he bullshitted and didn't know how to do it @Fyre

2018-11-30 20:04:07 UTC

to go back to the topic of the UN compact for migration.

I think Marcel de Graaff might be reading between the lines a bit too much, after reading the finalised text of the compact the only part I can see that would sorta raise a red flag is: Page 24, Objective 17: a) through c), which involve enacting new legislation revolving aggravated hate crimes targeted at migrants and preventative measures against incitement to violence against migrants.

To go as far as to say that "criminalise speech that criticise migration" is a bit of a stretch tbh, but I could see how it could be interpreted by bad actors to justify new over reaching hate speech regulation. However the whole document is non-legally binding.

Just to clear shit up incase people were freaking out about the video posted earlier.

2018-11-30 20:05:45 UTC

2018-11-30 20:06:17 UTC

be that as it may, the criminalising speech part was the only thing i was looking into, the other claim that "it makes migration a human right" would need checked out as well
