At this stage I'd have to take an interruption and it looks like doing so will cost me £11k in fees.

Feelsbadman

2018-12-01 07:10:48 UTC

We all make them, mate.

2018-12-01 07:10:54 UTC

Yeah

2018-12-01 07:10:54 UTC

Fuck coats.

2018-12-01 07:10:56 UTC

Jesus

2018-12-01 07:10:59 UTC

God damn

2018-12-01 07:11:58 UTC

Well.. Gotta go back to music... See ya around faggots.. Keep safe and study hard fastive

2018-12-01 07:12:05 UTC

'fastive'

2018-12-01 07:12:13 UTC

That's actually pretty funny

2018-12-01 07:12:15 UTC

Sorry...

2018-12-01 07:12:18 UTC

In other words, not an option. I'd nominally *stay in uni* for 2nd semester but not do anything and proper resit at the end before I asked my mam to cough up that much for an interruption.

2018-12-01 07:12:32 UTC

You too young

2018-12-01 07:13:05 UTC

Damn. Well, try to take some easier classes 2nd sem then

2018-12-01 07:13:36 UTC

Nah......That's not how uni works here. All my modules are preassigned. And it's STEM.

2018-12-01 07:13:37 UTC

yer getting yer fees paid for?

2018-12-01 07:14:32 UTC

Ah, damn. That's just unlucky then

2018-12-01 07:14:54 UTC

Student finance won't cover interruptions, I'd be liable for I I think 25% of the remaining fees for this year and restarting next year I'd be liable for 100% of the next years fees

2018-12-01 07:15:15 UTC

:/

2018-12-01 07:15:17 UTC

Oof

2018-12-01 07:15:23 UTC

Damn

2018-12-01 07:15:40 UTC

In other words for all they say interruptions are a good idea they're massively cost prohibited

2018-12-01 07:15:51 UTC

just resit then

2018-12-01 07:15:56 UTC

^

2018-12-01 07:17:08 UTC

I'd ask not to sit my end of year exams or resits and say I'm going to resit at the beginning of the semester, but I don't want to take a formal interruption.

2018-12-01 07:17:18 UTC

I just need to talk to them really.

2018-12-01 07:17:40 UTC

How does a resit work?

2018-12-01 07:17:43 UTC

can you apply for extensions?

2018-12-01 07:18:10 UTC

@Millihex if you dont make enough points to pass the year, you resit the modules you failed

2018-12-01 07:18:21 UTC

As in on deadlines? Not really. My exams are in January, nothing to do about that

2018-12-01 07:18:38 UTC

Ah, that makes sense

2018-12-01 07:19:15 UTC

i done a tactical resit of my 3rd year, was actually the best fuckin thing i did lel

2018-12-01 07:19:16 UTC

I have expressed to the school that I'm having difficulties at least so I am noted as a *distressed student* I think is the term they use

2018-12-01 07:19:24 UTC

Tactical?

2018-12-01 07:20:25 UTC

like the exact number of points to have to re-sit the year and not be carried on in 4th with loads of re-sits on top

2018-12-01 07:21:08 UTC

basically give me a relatively empty year to knock my dissertation out of the park

2018-12-01 07:21:27 UTC

Dwayne the Rock Johnson likes pineapple on pizza. This is it, the sign we needed to start war against these degenerates.

2018-12-01 07:21:42 UTC

Like I wish I could just start uni over. I'd approach everything completely differently.

2018-12-01 07:21:53 UTC

But at this stage habits are hard to break.

2018-12-01 07:22:07 UTC

Sounds expensive

2018-12-01 07:22:58 UTC

Don't think Finance would cover it either so I'd be entirely self financed if I did that.
