At this stage I'd have to take an interruption and it looks like doing so will cost me £11k in fees.
Feelsbadman
We all make them, mate.
Yeah
Fuck coats.
Jesus
God damn
Well.. Gotta go back to music... See ya around faggots.. Keep safe and study hard fastive
'fastive'
That's actually pretty funny
Sorry...
In other words, not an option. I'd nominally *stay in uni* for 2nd semester but not do anything and proper resit at the end before I asked my mam to cough up that much for an interruption.
You too young
Damn. Well, try to take some easier classes 2nd sem then
Nah......That's not how uni works here. All my modules are preassigned. And it's STEM.
yer getting yer fees paid for?
Ah, damn. That's just unlucky then
Student finance won't cover interruptions, I'd be liable for I I think 25% of the remaining fees for this year and restarting next year I'd be liable for 100% of the next years fees
:/
Oof
In other words for all they say interruptions are a good idea they're massively cost prohibited
just resit then
^
I'd ask not to sit my end of year exams or resits and say I'm going to resit at the beginning of the semester, but I don't want to take a formal interruption.
I just need to talk to them really.
How does a resit work?
can you apply for extensions?
@Millihex if you dont make enough points to pass the year, you resit the modules you failed
As in on deadlines? Not really. My exams are in January, nothing to do about that
Ah, that makes sense
i done a tactical resit of my 3rd year, was actually the best fuckin thing i did lel
I have expressed to the school that I'm having difficulties at least so I am noted as a *distressed student* I think is the term they use
Tactical?
like the exact number of points to have to re-sit the year and not be carried on in 4th with loads of re-sits on top
basically give me a relatively empty year to knock my dissertation out of the park
Dwayne the Rock Johnson likes pineapple on pizza. This is it, the sign we needed to start war against these degenerates.
Like I wish I could just start uni over. I'd approach everything completely differently.
But at this stage habits are hard to break.
Sounds expensive
Don't think Finance would cover it either so I'd be entirely self financed if I did that.
