The real enemy
@AstroTorch no way you havent seen this pic
as you can see there was a noticable growth with new and interesting content
but as the rehashed and stale content was released, only the initial update would see a "large" increase in sub count
Because WoW isnt cool anymore nor nostalgic to play
oldschool runescape is still on the slippery slope into being garbo and just saw a massive player-base boom
osrs mobile is earning mad bux while rs3 is dying
literally what is you point? *Yes it's going to tail off and become unprofitable at some point*
content drought into low effort content was a 1-2 blow for its longevity
I hope rs3 dies
its profitable longevity
WORLD OF DIABLO NAO
I got banned
that's literally how any kind of market works, including video games...
its still gonna be around a while, but its never gonna be what it was even though it had the potential to grow even more insane than it was
for no reason
it's why they have appeals really
how did you get botbanned?
I mean you can appeal it
all sorts of shit gets picked up by it
It's a game from 2005
You just have to dismiss the side quest bots to not get bot banned
13 years is a fairly impressive shelf life for a game let's be fair
agreed
13 years is not the shelf life of OSRS
5 years is the shelf life of OSRS
but if you look at the burning crusade you would see an increase in players from the new content
but with WOTL
it was a stagnation
at 13 years RS3 is past its expiry date
Because OSRS is actually nostalgic to play and fun to make money in
and they never recovered from that stagnation
and suitably it's expiring
so as the game WoW changed from what its initial subscribers bought in for
they lost their initial playerbase (largely) and then the content rehashing led to newer players not staying
dont forget runescape is owned by some chinese mining corporation now
OSRS isn’t expired though
