so every thing is philosophy
anything making claims
what about anything not making claims?
if I stub my toe I don't think that's necessarily philosophy, if I ask what pain is that is probably philosophy
This is confusing
but you just acquired the knowledge that you stubbed your toe
so by your logic
that is philosphy
I'm not talking about the aquisition of knowledge from stubbing my toe
I'm talking about the event of me stubbing my toe
if I start asking about the event it's probably philosophy
if I want to make any claims about anything it's philosophy
but in doing that, you did acquire that knowledge didnt you?
I'm not talking about aquiring knowledge
whether you make that claim or not?
I'm talking about my toe hitting the table leg
yea but as a result of that
I'm not talking about results of that
Your making a claim that making a claim is philosophy
And I'd call that claim philosophical lol
and?
so is experimenting philosophy?
What do you consider the act of experimenting
Usually people associate this with some cognitive process
putting to chemicals together for example
two
do you record your observations?
no
Does anyone conciouslly ask questions about it
no
Ok so in the world were two robots put two chemicals together and no one sees it or makes claims about it, this is claimless
so I wouldn't call this philosophy
any more than you call two distant planets colliding philosophy
If you attempt to study that behavior though?
or study anything
That is inherently philsophical
G'day fellas
Fun fact almost everything is making a claim
yeah
so anything that humans consciously do is philosophy ?
